Everyday Life in the Algarve – Jogos Tradicionais

This traditional game is called (as far as I can tell) Jogo da Malha.

Lost in the back streets of the village of Rogil in the Western Algarve, we stumbled upon a group of men playing a game with discs and a wooden pin. It was almost a form of bowling.

When we returned home I spent ages researching the game. I made a more comprehensive post here, if you would like to know more or can offer any additional information.
